Palin backed Miller as a Tea Party Republican very heavily. An endorsement from Palin may end up meaning little for Miller. Over Miller, Murkowski has a head of 92,164 to 90,458. This is what the Anchorage Daily News reports. You will find 8,000 ballots that have yet to be counted. Of course, Murkowski has gotten regarding 97 percent of write-in ballots. The judge hasn't granted anything to Joe Miller yet even though he has challenged seven,601 of the votes. Murkowski's campaign maintains the law allows for interpreting voter intent.
A blast within the face from Murkowski to Sarah Palin
Palin and Murkowski have a somewhat bitter history, as Palin has taken numerous swipes at Murkowski in the press. A President needs "leadership skills" that Palin doesn't have while Palin also "lacks intellectual curiosity" according to Lisa Murkowski. CBS accounts that she said this in an interview with Katie Couric. She said that Palin got out of office as shortly as possible after serving her half term as governor where she was not engaged hardly at all.
Shortly the final vote count can be here
The final Alaska vote count isn’t far off, as the last ballots are being gathered and reviewed. The lawsuit by Miller might end up just getting thrown out if it does not progress fast enough as it’s still pending. Should Murkowski win, it can be the 1st write-in candidate elected to office in over 50 years.
