Lydia Hearst does the Lohan in new satirical movie

Lydia Hearst to star in Lohan-lampooning film

If the Roman poet had known there would be a Snooki, Hilton or Lindsay Lohan in our future, would he have been too distracted to write that “It is difficult not to write satire,” or would he have given an “I told you so” glance?. Such walking caricatures of a twisted celebrity-worshiping culture are satire fly paper. So why not cast heiress Lydia Hearst in a film satire that takes shots at Lohan? We live in highly self-referential times. Individuals everywhere could be applying for paycheck loans to see this, although it really just gives Lohan more press. About the Lydia Hearst plan

While FirstShowing.net categorizes Lydia Hearst-Shaw as “a non-slutty, less publicized version of Hilton,” it’s clear to some that Hearst-Shaw aspires to bigger things than where to get spring water for a Chihuahua. Lydia Hearst is the great-granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst who is a publishing giant. Being an heiress isn’t the only thing about her. On Page Six of the New York Post, you can find her regular column. You might also see her in independent films for instance “The Last International Playboy,” in television shows such as “Gossip Girl,” in some modeling and even as a spokeswoman for many international causes.

‘One of the few supermodels who can act’

FirstShowing.net was able to talk to screenwriter of “Dogs in Pocketbooks,” Charles Casillo. He said that a character based on Lohan will be played by Lydia Hearst soon. The character played by Hearst-Shaw is “a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi and more.” This is what Casillo explained. Then the screenwriter said the role in “Dogs in Pocketbooks” couldn’t be played by any other than Hearst-Shaw. She had the right charm and intelligence.

Is the material worthwhile?

Nobody knows if “Dogs in Pocketbooks” will really be worthwhile since LiLo has been in many films making fun of herself, for instance “Machete,” by Robert Rodriguez. Satire will not be hard to find. This is especially true when considering Juvenal. The presentation of it could be what matters.
