There is no purpose to oppose Don't Ask Don't Tell repeal

The repeal of the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy of the military has been controversial to say the least. Lots of individuals weren’t happy for Congress to interfere with military business. The very same objection is being brought now, as a federal judge Virginia Phillips ruled DADT to be unconstitutional after it had been challenged in court. Everybody, including Republicans, should be for repealing DADT policies. Resource for this article – Everyone should embrace DADT repeal by Newsytype.com.

DADT is an issue civil rights will settle

There is no question that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is a civil rights issue. It would be ridiculous to try and deny it. It used to be that individual liberties were significant. The Republican party believed this strongly. The slaves ended up being freed, with a simple view of the event, by Abraham Lincoln. Also, the Log Cabin Republicans brought forth the suit. That’s where the DADT suit came from. Republicans have been known for civil liberties forever. Republicans have other things that are essential too. It has an additional one of these incentives attached.

It will conserve the govt cash

The military is paid for by the public. That is how it’s funded. Tax dollars pay for our troops. This is why Republicans might think fiscal conservatism is something to look into. If the military has to quickly drop all investigations and never conduct another one pursuant to a Don’t Ask Don’t Tell discharge, that is cash that won’t have to be spent. That adds up to millions per year. By 2006, the taxpayers had already paid more than $360 just for the DADT investigations, reports USA Today.

Then there is the Tea Party

The current mood among the more conservative wing of this nation, especially the Tea Party, is of deep concern with fiscal practices. Millions will be saved if the DADT policy ends. This will also protect the rights of our citizens who have been treated poorly. There is no excuse for making a second class citizen of anybody, especially individuals who put their lives on the line for our country.
