South Park Creators Receive Death Threats

sp2-240x180South Park death threats may sound like something that Trey Parker and Matt Stone would put in their own show, but after Episode 200 of South Park, South Park death threats are a very real danger. After Episode 200 of South Park portrayed the prophet Mohammad, making fun of the fact the prophet cannot be seen, an “extremist website” posted very specific warnings that Parker and Stone may be “punished with death”. Stone and Parker might well have to look into unsecured personal loans to get private body guards, though the network that shows South Park has not offered an official response.

Other extremist murders echoed by South Park death threats

Theo Van Gogh, a very violent murder, was echoed in South Park death threats. An artist murdered by extremists in 2004, Theo Van Gogh has been a point of concern. There were graphic photographs of Theo Van Gogh’s death and near-decapitation attached to the South Park death threats. Fox News interviewed the author of the supposed South Park death threat post, and he said that the post was “not a threat, but is really a likely outcome” and warning to Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

South Park death threats follow episode 200

The episode that led to Abu Talhah al Amrikee posting the South Park death threats was aired on Comedy Central last week. The concern over showing Mohammad and also the violence that may happen was the focus of the South Park episode that really spurred on South Park death threats. At the end of Episode 200, a bear suit disguises Mohammad. During the episode, the depictions of Mohammad are covered with a large black bar that has “Censored” over the bar. A few years ago, South Park showed Mohammad during a “Super Best Friends” episode that also incorporated Jesus, Buddha, and other religious leaders.

South Park death threats also involved specific information

When the South Park death threats were supposedly “just a warning,” the post included details which were very specific about Parker and Stone. The layout of the mansion that Trey and Parker shown was included within the post that had the South Park death threats. Comedy Central may offer easy cash loans to the South Park staff to get body guards, though the network has offered no comment on the South Park death threats yet.
