Gingerbread Android model creeping closer to release
The release of the hotly envisioned Gingerbread Android system could possibly be a lot closer than thought. The name Gingerbread for Android 2.3 was never verified, however Google most recently published images of gingerbread cookies baked in the shape of the Android emblem. Android 2.3 is also rumored to be the standard operating system of the eagerly anticipated Nexus S wise phone. Finding out about Gingerbread Android coming around
Numerous await the newest versions of Android OS just as much as they do for Apple updates. The most recent Android OS was Android 2.2, dubbed Froyo, was released in late 2009. Éclair was the Android system released before that. The Gingerbread Android OS rumors haven't come with any kind of release date. Of course, when Google put pictures of gingerbread cookies within the form of the Android logo the rumors went flying. Some amateur video footage from the Google campus also revealed a new statue within the Android statue area, according to PC Magazine. Most OS for the smartphone features are unknown. There weren't any details released. The release date for Gingerbread isn’t really known yet.
Releasing with Nexus S
The next generation of Google phones, or rather a sequel to the Nexus One, has been talked about for ages. The wait for the HTC Nexus S has been awaited for a when. This is the next Nexus phone. Daily Tech reports that the Android 2.3 will probably come on the phone. It isn’t confirmed yet, but it is entirely possible the Nexus S is going to be the first phone to come with Gingerbread standard. Hopefully it releases quicker instead of later. Google will benefit from this.
Christmas fight for it
Christmas is what most retail is all about. Right now, the rumors for the Android Gingerbread OS and Nexus S are still rumors. There will soon be an iOS 4.2 release. Black Friday might be really exciting with some kind of showdown between companies.
