More high end automobiles getting marketed

After several years of dismal economic news, perhaps the rich are feeling lucky enough to purchase new cars . Several luxury brands have posted enormous gains . Cadillac gained a lot in the first nine months of 2010. In fact, USA Today reports a 43.8 percent gain for the company. During that time, other luxury brands also posted big gains . Since Sept 2009, 25 percent more automobiles were sold by Infiniti, Acura, Audi and Porsche also . There was a 10 percent boost since that very same time from Bavarian Motor Works and Lexus along with a brand that nobody seems to remember getting a 6 percent boost called Lincoln . Next year, the Lincoln will be advertised much more. This is the plan of Ford Motor Co. Only Volvo did not post an increase in sales for high end vehicles .

Mercedes outsells Lexus

In the last year, there has been an increase in all luxurious automobile sales. This was after the huge drop in sales after September 2009. Though Cadillac may have posted a 43.8 percent gain for 2010 so far, since September, 2009, it has only increased revenue by 11 percent, based on Automotive News . Mercedes managed to sell probably the most luxurious automobiles since that time, increasing sales by 22 percent since January of 2010 . Lexus marketed more cars than Mercedes until Sept his and Mercedes beat out Lexus .

Incentives have disappeared

Sales incentives among luxury brands aren’t being offered as much anymore . Despite those obstacles, more people are buying high end autos and getting larger auto loans — a sign of greater economic confidence .
