Car sales have increased since past Sept
The monthly auto sales have just been released. September auto sales have climbed significantly since this past year. A low, low point in car sales was reached in September 2009. Cash for Clunkers ending led to a slump in car revenue, just like the homeowner tax credit expired and home revenue dropped off. Ever since, automobile sales are steadily going up. That said, August has been the banner month for this year. September sales slumped after August. The domestic auto makers actually did pretty well. There was a huge gain over the year for Chrysler.
Auto sales went up since last year’s
The Cash for Clunkers program ended last year. This brought on car sales to go down. Ever since then, the auto industry has worked to try and get back up. The United States vehicle revenue are starting to increase steadily since Sept 2009. Automotive News explains that there was a 29 percent increase in the car industry since last year. Domestic auto firms realized great increases. There was a 40 percent increase in Ford alone. General Motors had an 11 percent increase though. A 61 percent increase was what Chrysler had, making it much better off than the rest. Suzuki was the only company that did worse this year than last year.
Lower this calendar month
The increase may are great in the year, but the calendar month of Sept was slower than August. This month, kids are going back to school. Getting an autoloans seems like it is out of the picture with tuition that has to be paid. The year may show Chrysler doing extremely well. Sadly, since August, the gain has only been 1 percent. Ford had the best September sales with a 2 percent bump from August. In the past month, General Motors had sales fall quite a bit. There was a 7 percent drop in sales. Despite Ford selling more by percentage, General Motors sold more automobiles by volume. According to CNN, auto industry insiders believe a good fourth quarter is coming.
Rebound might be slow however is occurring
The economy has been hurt as a result of consumer spending, such as the auto industry. It might be gradually occurring, however it is being fixed. The economy will get better.
